Although being an Post graduate and working for a top FMCG giant, my heart was always in Football. My love for football began at the age of 14 when I was rejected from inter-house school team. That incident inspired me to challenge and train myself to be a football player. I worked hard and put in hours of time and effort and taught myself every skill and information there is about football that I could acquire. The efforts put in to teach my self without any guidance was tremendous but I never stopped trying and that has helped me be a better coach today. I`ve faced many hardships in training myself without a guidance and that drives me to be a coach to anyone with a passion for football.
I have attended all five levels of UEFA `A` licence from England and have also achieved AFC level `A` Licence .
I was a part of my Junior college team and have played many University matches. The first club of my career was Shivajians. At the age of 19 I formed my own club, Sky-hawks. It was registered in 1989 when we started playing for Pune District League. In 2000, we merged AIYFA with Sky-hawks.
